The catalog shows that the item is available at another library, but when I sign in on URsearch and try to request it, I get a message saying “No copies available” or "Resource sharing is only allowed under specific terms and conditions."
Why is that?
- The OhioLINK library might not allow its copy to be borrowed outside of that school for a number of reasons.
- The items might be too old or fragile to be sent.
- It might be on reserve for a class at that school.
- It might be an ebook. Ebooks are not lendable between institutions.
- It might be a non-circulating item that is in reference or special collections, etc.
