Requesting an Ursuline Book: Step-by-Step Guide
1. From the Library Homepage, enter the title of the item you are looking for.
2. Choose the correct Scope to search.
Tip: URsearch searches both Besse Library's catalog and OhioLINK's Catalog.
3. Click Search to begin
4. You can narrow your search results to the type of material you are hoping to find. In this case, we are looking for a book.
5. Found it!
Click the title or the call number to open the record.
6. If you would like to have the book ready to pick up when you visit Besse Library, sign in to your account.
7. Sign in with your Ursuline Email.
8. In the "Get It" section, click "Request" to begin.
9. Choose the date you will pick up the book.
10. Click "Send Request"
11. You can always check your hold request. Sign in or click on your name, if you previously signed in.
12. Click "My Requests"
13. This shows my hold is still being processed. The system will send a message to your Ursuline email when it is ready for pick up. You can also cancel holds, if you no longer need the item.
